UI/UX Designer
At Talo Labs, we are focused on fundamentally changing the paradigm of modern drug discovery. We bring together technologies including deep learning, Web3 and high-performance computing to change the process and speed at which important drugs are developed for the world. Our team includes bioinformaticians, biologists, chemists, machine learning and software engineers.
As a UI/UX Designer you will be designing our core software platform as well as producing brand assets as required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Identify and troubleshoot UI problems
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Define design strategy for each product with product and market requirements in mind
- Prepare and present drafts to teams and key shareholders
- Closely working with product and engineering to rapidly and iteratively prototype
- Conducting customer research including usability tests
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in UI or graphic design roles
- Experience working in fast paced environment
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative ideas with problem solving mindset
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or equivalent professional experience in design, UX/UI development and/or graphic design roles
- Proficient in design softwares such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Studio, etc.
- Candidates are required to submit a portfolio to demonstrate design expertise
